Breakfast in the garden outside is very special and the adjecent little tower dependance we stayed in was a true relaxing place and a well equiped room. It's à few km outside Palinuro and takes some nerves in driving the last 500m uphill.

Clean, large rooms with great amenities inside, but a breathtaking view from the garden and terrace. Wonderful tips for touring the Palinuro region. Great choices of local wines to accompany delicious charcuterie boards in the evening. Peaceful breakfasts with changing pastries each morning outside to soak up the view. These individuals are cordial and irreplaceable, in that they contribute substantially to the atmosphere of the Castello. The modern-day storyteller Vincenzo possesses an ability to captivate his audience while conveying important touristic information to his guests.
The cure of the delightful garden is somewhat analogous to the garden of Windsor Castle. An immense applause to Silvia and her green thumb. Additionally, it is Silvia who prepares a wide selection of exquisite homemade cakes and marmelades for breakfast. We also came to learn this year she produces finocchietto, a local digestive.
A word of caution: Once you experience the Castello di San Sergio, you may find yourself returning year after year..

The quiet and the green that surround Il Castello di San Sergio were amazing, just what we were looking for, a relaxing holiday . We were fascinated by the charming premises (our bedroom was lovely). The rich breakfast which we took on the outside terrace under the pergola with the ocean view was amazing. The owners, Sylvia and Vincenzo, were very kind and helpful .
Definitely Il Castello di San Sergio is highly recommended.
